I hate putting it on my lap because it gets too hot. I was thinking of buying a breakfast stand and use that as a laptop but not sure where to get that either. Anyone know any places or links in Toronto, Canada?

My Sony laptop is trash after one year and the support staff is unreliable from my point of view but I only used their online chat help. Extremely disappointed in Sony so need to move on to another laptop. Any opinions and why??

from the dell site it can take 4 gigs but a significant amount of it will go to graphics .

Looking to buy a new laptop around 800-900$ range. There are a few nice sandy bridge ones out there (http://ncix.com/products/?sku=59552&vpn=XZ307UA%23ABC&manufacture=HP%20Consumer) and non-sandy ones (http://ncix.com/products/?sku=60225&vpn=U36JC-B1&manufacture=ASUS&promoid=1367). Its possible the next line of chips would bring quad core i5′s to around 900$ range, should i wait? When are the next line of intel processors going to come out?
